K 9-12 대상 보딩스쿨로써 LA 다운타운의 가장 안전하고도 깨끗한 곳에 위치하며 주변건물간 구름다리로 연결되어있어 도보거리인 Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Music Center, Colburn School 등 예술, 음악의 중심부에 있습니다.
LA top-class musician들을 강사진으로 모시고 미래의 유능한 뮤지션의 배출 및 명문 음악대학 입학지도와 또한 음악 외 전공인 Ivy League 대학 지망생들에겐 특기생 가산점 등 학생들이 원하는 대학 입학을 위해 최선의 지도를 합니다.
입학하시면 같은 캠퍼스 내 동맹학교인 AUP (American University Preparatory School) 보딩스쿨서 고교 정규교육을 받으시는 동시 저희에게 전문적 실용음악교육을받는 정규 미 사립고교생이 되어집니다. AUP는 미국 최고권위의 교육인증기관인 WASC 인증 받은 고등학교로써 외국 학생들을 위한 I-20발급과 모던한 시설을 자랑하며 또한 캠퍼스 내 저희 학생들과 함께 기거하게 될 기숙사는 24시간 철저한 관리하에 안전한 시스템을 갖추고 있습니다.
그리고 미 서부의 줄리어드 라 불리는 제휴학교인 Colburn School에서도 필요한 수업을 들으며 또한 미국 3대 미디어 그룹인 Relativity Media가 운영하는 영화, 미디어 전문인 ICL School 과도 교육 교류를 하게 됩니다. 이렇게 EEI, AUP, Colburn, ICL 스쿨은 DTLA (DownTown LA Alliance) 멤버 학교들로써 서로의 시스템과 아이디어 및 지식을 공유하며 공동의 목적을 위해 나가는 학교 연합체입니다.

MASTAR Program
EEI Music 특별 부서인 IMASTAR Program 도 소개 드리려 합니다. 미국 LA서 크게 인정받고 있는 EEI Music IMASTAR Program은 많은 메이저 뮤직레이블과 글로벌 한 협력 관계로 음악 프로듀싱, 가수앨범, 비지니스 컨설팅, 공연 에이전트 등 많은 일을 이룬 전문 프로덕션, 컨설팅 회사 입니다. 지난4년간 150명의 학생 분들이명문 음악대학 입학은 물론 한국 대형 기획사와의 아티스트 계약 및 미국 내 음반사, 방송사 간의 계약을 이뤄냈습니다. 또한 많은 가수들의 앨범 참여, 제작, 공연, 아티스트 계약, 데뷔 등을 이뤄냈고, 미국 LA서 가장 각광받는 젊은 프로듀서들의 선두주자로 좋은 결과들을 내고 있습니다.
미국, 유럽, 아시아 지역에서 현역으로 활발하게 활동하는 프로듀서들이 가장 확실하고도 정확한 현실적인 노하우를 가르쳐드립니다. 또한 학기말에는 작사, 작곡,편곡 (컴퓨터음악, Midi), 보컬, 피아노, 기악 수업을 통하여 6개월 코스를 끝으로 학생의 자작곡을 음원 발매 해드립니다. 학생의 이름으로 저작권 등록 및 아티스트크레딧을 남겨드리며, 실질적으로 미국에서의 프로덕션 제작 및 데뷔를 할 수 있게 지원해드립니다.

Hello. We would like to introduce you the EEI School of Jazz & Contemporary Music.
EEI Music is a boarding high school located in downtown LA, the center of music and the arts. We are located within the walking distance of Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Music Center and Colburn School. Our school and surrounding neighborhood are very well protected by the security guards, and buildings are all connected through sky bridge. EEI Music provides excellent music training through our LA’s top-class instructors. We are foremost dedicated to preparing students to become world class musicians and to enter prestigious universities. EEI Music is also committed to equipping non-music majors with musical skills and distinguishing them as musically exceptional applicants through various opportunities in music competitions. EEI Music also accepts international and local students. Students who are enrolled in other local schools may attend in EEI Music after hours.
EEI Music is a partner of four schools (EEI Music, AUP, Colburn School, ICL Academy), called the DTLA Alliance (Downtown LA Alliance). DTLA Alliance schools share a unique system, network, ideas and programs with a common goal to educate, innovate and collaborate. When students enroll in EEI Music, they will take general education courses in AUP (American University Preparatory School), which is our partner school located in the same campus, and take specialized music courses in EEI Music. As students become part of EEI Music and AUP, they will attend a WASC-accredited, nationally approved private high school, a safe boarding high school with a 24-hour security system. Furthermore, AUP offers I-20 for international students. EEI Music is also a partner school of Colburn School, often called the Julliard of California, where students can take classic music courses. Lastly, EEI Music is a partner school of ICL Academy, a film and media school that is operated by Relativity Media, which is the third largest major film studio in the world.
IMASTAR Program
The IMASTAR Program is a special department in EEI Music. Over the years, EEI Music’s IMASTAR program has built its reputation with its unwavering focus on music production, artist development, worldwide album release, and agent consulting. IMASTAR program’s 150 alumni are now attending college-level music schools, such as Berklee College of Music in Boston and Musicians Institute in Hollywood, and were even offered contracts from various major music record labels and television broadcasting companies in the United States and South Korea. Some have debuted, featured in many artists’ albums, and grew to be young producers themselves, leading Los Angeles to the next level of contemporary music.
Our instructors are globally active and established producers who can definitively, precisely, and pragmatically instruct students. With years of experience in major music industries in North America, Europe and Asia, our instructors will guide each student to compose, write, arrange (such as computer midi), record (vocal or instruments), mix, and master his or her own original song. At the end of the six-month semester, each student will be able to release their original single, register the song’s copyright, and receive credit for the song. The IMASTAR program is specifically designed to help students debut as an artist or to acquire a publishing deal.
